Quotes from Victory Review, May 2002:

"I was soon captivated by Spinnaker's music.  They are somewhat reminiscent of Steel Eye Span, an ingenious early '70s band that rocked-out Celtic music without losing its traditional feel.  Spinnaker also adds Caribbean and Reggae rhythms now and then.  Jonathan, Mary, and Tony blended their voices in knockout harmonies, and each took turns as lead vocal.... The bass added a wonderful depth to the music, helping to drive along the best version of 'Follow Me Up to Carlow' that I've ever heard...

"Spinnaker is the most successfully versatile band I have seen in years.  It is difficult to categorize their music.  It's some kind of Word Beat-Folk-Rock-Celtic-Funk I guess.... Spinnaker's a very fun, entertaining band with something for almost everyone."
